Confirmed from Glenwood Gardens' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“Very well maintained and beautiful to hike through!”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 10 mentions

“Glenwood Gardens is a beautiful park to go to for a walk or miscellaneous events (each time we go we've seen events underway: couple's photography, prom photos, etc.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“6 mile Wetland Loop trail, shade is not often found on the path, so avoid in severe heat or without sunscreen.”

🐕 dog-walking favorite 3 mentions

“Overall, a beautiful park to go to for those who love to walk, and appropriate for athletes, dog walkers, couples, the elderly, and everyone between.”

A curated garden of joy and elegance. This place blooms of magenta zinnias, golden sunflowers, pink petunias, red sage, white morning glory, pink Egyptian starclusters and yellow prairie docks. The paved path stretches 1.0-mile long and onto the 1.6-mile Wetland Loop nature trail. I came on Wednesday afternoon.

Not from the area so it was a bit confusing as they say you must have a parking pass. There is a cost to enter the gardens which are very fun and whimsical, more geared for kids. Unpaved hiking trail if you want to explore beyond the garden area.

Outstanding place! I visited in March, but there were some flowers already bloomed such as daffodils, some purple ones, and a type of roses. At the entrance, there is the cotswold overlook, which is breathtaking. Dog and kids friendly. In March, there was a free Plenty of parking lot. Restrooms available.

Went here solo just to walk around and soak up this beautiful planet and GODS good vitamin D and it was wonderful. Great way to start my day. People couldn't help but be friendly. It was free to walk around. I think they may have some paid trails but I'm not sure. Didnt check into those.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
