Confirmed from Godsey Ridge Trail (Trailhead)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Godsey Ridge Trail (Trailhead)

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (5 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🪧 well-marked 2 mentions

“Beautiful, well marked and convenient.”

This is a short but very nice trail in Red Bank! I was curious to see what it would be like with kid. It was lovely how the trails are all shaded and cut really well. Everything is also labeled well.

★★★★★ — Lauren , Jun 2026

A fantastic trail within the city limits. Heavily shaded making it perfect for hot days. Even though I'd love for it to be longer, it's wonderfully laid out and maximizes the available space. Another great trail to accent to the areas many others. Probably 30-45 minutes to complete.

★★★★★ — Todd , May 2026

Great new set of trails. Green = easy gravel. Blue is dirt trail. Red is also dirt, but is supposed to be hiker only, no mountain bike. Black is the summit, which has a small rock design sitting area.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🪨 Crushed gravel / limestone 2 mentions

“The green trail is gravel and the blue and red are dirt trails.”
