Confirmed from Grassy Pond's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature preserve with woodsy trails and a pond, plus a kid-friendly hike.
What runners say about Grassy Pond
“Decorated rocks and exercises keep this place interesting and a little bit off the path there are some beautiful maple trees.”
“Great for quiet walks through the woods or on the bike trail.”
This is a simple path around a simple pond and somehow I just love it here. It has such a great vibe. A great place to stroll and clear my mind and connect with nature.
Very quite and peaceful place. Easy walk around the pond with great views. Very clean grounds.
Grassy Pond is a decent sized pond with a nice trail around it and a few side trails through some high-canopy woods. It is less than a mile around, but has exercise stops along the way which are fun. This makes for a very nice stroll with a friend or a dog (or both!).
This is a nice short walking trail around a pond. The distinguishing feature of Grassy Pond is the exercise equipment placed along the trail. The inner loop around the pond is .6 miles, there is an additional spur that adds another .4 miles.
