Confirmed from Great Brook Farm State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I took my daughter to this farm last weekend! It was an amazing experience with my little one. We found many kinds of mushrooms and saw a deer walking around the forest! Yummy ice cream and cute animals at the farm. Highly recommend it to anyone especially for kids.

We first visited yesterday, July 12, 2025. We wanted to hike and found Pine Point Loop. Very nice trail and a good choice to see quite a bit of the park. We brought our dog and picniced as well. We’ll be back for sure!

I had the most delightful experience at Great Brook Farm State Park in Carlisle! This place is an absolute gem, and I can't recommend it enough for families and nature enthusiasts alike. The first thing that struck me was the sheer beauty of the park.

This is one of my favorite parks. It's very much a part of my life - I've been coming here for twenty years with friends and family to take walks and have picnics. It's easy to navigate, it's beautiful, there is ice cream, cows, goats, pigs and chickens!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
