Confirmed from Great Falls of Tinkers Creek's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Urban falls tumbling 15 ft. over a wide swath of sandstone cliff in Viaduct Park, near mill ruins.
What runners say about Great Falls of Tinkers Creek
“The frozen waterfall was a stunning winter spectacle — a silent cascade of ice and snow that looked like something from a fairytale.”
“The waterfalls are absolutely beautiful, and the area has such a peaceful, scenic feel to it.”
Super beautiful falls! We spent a long time just hanging out here and enjoying the view! I will say that getting here was a bit complicated. The maps took us to the middle of a road and said we had arrived. Definitely not in the right spot haha. We ended up finding Viaduct Park and parking there.
This park is a no frills park. I gave it 4 stars because the waterfall is beautiful. This waterfall is handicapped accessible. The path is wide and paved down to the falls. There is a train that runs across the viaduct, but things are so over grown, you can't see it.
Absolutely beautiful. We wandered off the trail. Followed the falls down and down and down again, wandered through a tunnel and went down further. Climbed up and crossed over into another parks trails. Had a blast, enjoyed getting lost.
These falls are part of Viaduct Park. Besides the falls, there are a few other things to look at while you are here. The actual viaduct is a nice piece of history that has been preserved. The falls themselves are a short walk from the parking lot. And you get a great view of the falls from the observation deck.
