Confirmed from Green Township Bike and Walk Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Green Township Bike and Walk Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (88 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“There are also several doggy clean up stations along way, but no toilets for humans.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“It's not quite as picturesque as it once was, but the new development will add additional trail paths and shouldn't start looking really nice in a couple years.”

A hidden gem in Green Township. It is a 1 mile paved trail through wooden residential areas. The trail is entirely flat with the main trailhead parking off Hutchinson Road. There are handicap accessible parking spots, so those with wheelchairs or needing walkers would do fine here.

★★★★★ — Barry , Dec 2020

The trail has been reopened for a couple of months now from the Trailside Village development blockage that was put in place. It's not quite as picturesque as it once was, but the new development will add additional trail paths and shouldn't start looking really nice in a couple years.

Nice, fairly level paved walkway, about a mile out to the end from the parking lot off of Hutchinson Rd. Lots of places for my dog Sadie to enjoy sniffing and exploring. GREEN TOWNSHIP: YOU REALLY NEED TO CONSIDER PUTTING A PORTLET IN THE PARKING LOT ON HUTCHINSON!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
