Confirmed from Greentree Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Spacious, riverside, greenway park for walking, biking, and boating.
What runners say about Greentree Park
“Enjoyable greenway bike ride, though this beginning section is the least scenic.”
“It's great for biking, hiking, jogging, and taking the dog for a walk.”
“Quiet, relatively flat, well paved tail near the river with a lot of shade.”
Enjoyable greenway bike ride, though this beginning section is the least scenic. The Valley Park side is a bit nicer and has a single track mountain bike trail parallel to the Greenway for a small section. Overall, the greenway is nice and wide and has plenty of shade.
Beautiful Greenway with river views along the way and a number of nice benches. Great path for biking, running, roller blading, etc. Most of the blacktop surface is pretty smooth and would be fine for scooters and roller blades but there are a few patches that get rough where the older blacktop is worn.
Had a great walk along the River with my bestie and found these tracks!! I LOVE SPRING!
Right by my work place. I stop there often. Fly my drone. Walk with camera looking for wildlife.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
