Confirmed from Greenville City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Scenic

Relaxed park offering fishing, disc golf, picnic areas and playground equipment such as slides.

“It was such a beautiful day and the town of Greenville is full of so much kindness.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Nice quiet place with lots of shelters and picnic tables.”

This park has so much to offer. The restrooms are kept clean. No smoking on the playground. Benches are place all around the playground so you can watch your child from any where you sit or your welcomed to play with them. Swings by the lakes so you can just relax.

When you think of a cinematic park scene, you think greenville city park, with the 2 small concrete brides or the peacocks in the park, its a great place to catch a look of a crappie in the water with the ducks floating on the ponds. And nice play park next to it provided by the city, isn't too bad either.

★★★★★ — Michael , Nov 2025

Very nice here. It's mostly well taken care of except one or two of the ponds sometimes. Once you walk across the bridge to the other side of the park there isn't anything there except 2 ponds a few things for Frisbee golf. Would give 5 stars if the city would finally make use of the area across the bridge.

Nice change of venue if you are looking for somewhere to get outside and walk around

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
