Confirmed from Grippen Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Informal park featuring an indoor skate park, plus fishing and boating facilities.
What runners say about Grippen Community Park
Love this place. Great place to take the dogs and get out and take a stroll. Not as congested as the rail trail, also not as boring as the rail trail. Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against the rail trail but too many people, small space for bikes, skaters runners and walkers.
I was there for a race. The people running it were very nice, everything was organized, the only thing I didn't like was the stupid roller coming out of the first turn, but that's just me.
Amazing indoor bmx track playground fishing and boating area and hiking this is definitely one of those places that has something for everyone

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
