Confirmed from Grissom Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

With the busy areas that surround this trail, once you begin, it will feel like you left the city. While there are cyclists and volunteers on the trail, it is very quiet and peaceful. The pathway is clean and signs are up to let the walker/cyclists know which side of the trail they need to be on.

Maybe one day we can travel out of state on these trails... anything can happen! Who do I talk to about adding more Greenway trails?

★★★★★ — Zachary , Mar 2023

Overall me and my wife enjoyed our 3 mile walk. The further we walked the more beauty we saw of the trail. It didn't start off so beautiful. There was alot of rubbish and areas that could have been tended to. We like the courtsy of most of the bike riders letting you know they were coming through.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
