Confirmed from Groton Conservation Trust -- Lawrence Woods & Scenic Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Groton Conservation Trust -- Lawrence Woods & Scenic Trails
This is an area that I've walked in frequently, first to Geo cache then to help a lady friend with dogs. It's been a safe place to hike along a beautiful waterway flowing along at at a quick but peaceful pace.
Adjacent to, and probably part of, the Groton Conservation lands is the Groton Place dog park. It's 100+ acres of field, woods, amd the Nashua river where dogs can run off leash. We were there the day after Thanksgiving with three dogs, and we saw a couple dozen more.
