Confirmed from Gull Point Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Designated beach and hiking spot with trails and lake views.
What runners say about Gull Point Trail
“Otherwise, it's a beautiful journey with a great view of the various birds unique to this part of Erie.”
Never miss this scenic area when you drive near Lake Erie in the US side. The Presque Isle State Park is free and beautiful.
Great trail through wetland and beaches. A well preserved wildlife habitat. The observation towers at the end of the trail offer panoramic view of Gull point and the lake
Amazing. Peaceful. Important beach area protections for nesting and migratory shorebirds. Just 10 feet up the observation platform and WOW is it windy! You must find the trailhead by another name, park, and walk 1.5 miles. Can be iffy hike where part of trail hugs the coast during high tide. Worth it!
Visited on a Friday morning- some time around 10- so parking was very was more than available and the whole trail was ours. The hike was serene, and beautiful, and definitely worth checking out. It was incredible to see the biodiversity of the park.
