Confirmed from Presque Isle State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offers 11 miles of beaches, concert spaces, a lighthouse, lagoons & an environmental center.

Presque Park is hands down stunning. I went in the winter and the icey beach/bay is magical. There's tons of trails for walking and biking, but the views are a must. The multi park and drive stops are very well organized and easy to follow - don't bust 25 mph too much or they will getcha.
Beautiful park!! I rented a bike and was able to ride different trails around the park. The birds are amazing!! The Goldfinches are so vibrant. I loved hearing all the birds chirping. It was so quiet at the same time. Just a wonderful place with so many great views!
Presque Isle State Park is an absolute gem along Lake Erie! The park is beautifully maintained, with clean restrooms, plenty of walking and biking trails, and several gorgeous beaches to choose from. Beach 6 and Beach 8 are the most popular, offering calm lakeshore waters perfect for families and a relaxing swim.
This is a huge park with many possibilities. My particular day trip was with the intention of hiking to the Gull Point Observation Tower. Although there was construction near the trailhead, it was still accessible. It was a lovely long hike with many birders sharing the trail.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
