Confirmed from H.W. Cox Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about H.W. Cox Park
“Always clean with vending machines and restrooms, along with a gym, walking track, and weight room.”
“The courts are ok, but they need a few benches to sit on and maybe some sails for shade.”
Love this park. Nestled within the neighborhood, it's a great place to run and play. It's always well kept. There's a nice track around wide open grass field, a large pavilion for with picnic tables for lunch or parties and a small playground for kids.
Awesome place. There is a playground the kids like to play at, along with a pavilion for parties. I'm not a member, but the building is nice. Always clean with vending machines and restrooms, along with a gym, walking track, and weight room.
It’s a nice park with some good shade on a sunny day. There is a walking trail too. BTW the photo is taken at 4 PM on a summer evening. The weather was 85 but in the shade it’s cool and nice. Our new fav play area. The best part is it’s clean, well maintained. Sit anywhere on the benches and you can still see your kid.
What a beautiful park! And large! We are constantly here for soccer practice and the paths that you can walk are so refreshing. It’s great outdoor exercise and activities for people of all ages. The town of Collierville does a great job keeping things in pristine condition.

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
