Confirmed from Hague Road Nature Haven's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is such a beautiful and relaxing place to take a walk and enjoy the peace that nature brings. Nice easy trails, and it's rarely crowded. Swing by around sunset for some amazing views of wildflowers and reflections of the trees on the water.

★★★★★ — Eric , May 2023

One of my favorite places to go for a mental health break! Not only is it beautiful but it's very peaceful for someone looking for a quick and easy getaway. Every time I go it always feels like I'm the only one there, I rarely run into others even if there's cars in the parking lot.

★★★★★ — Ponyboy , Sep 2023

Hague Road nature Haven is such a nice quiet place. But for the love, people, when you pick up your pet waste in a bag please take it with you. It's not really that helpful if you leave the plastic bags along the trail.

★★★★☆ — Jenny , Jan 2023

Wonderful dog friendly hike with unique trails and river access. Didn't have the time to see all the trails, but we're excited to go back!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 45 mentions

“I’ve taken my late dog here on multiple occasions for walks when it’s nice outside, and we both enjoyed it!”
