Confirmed from Haley Farm State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Protected open space offering hiking & biking paths & a historic series of hand-built stone walls.
What runners say about Haley Farm State Park

“Lovely easy hike or bike ride.”
The parking lot is at the end of a short road, google maps navigation is correct. Compared to Bluff Point and some other parks there isn't a ton of space for parking.
Beautiful hidden gem with a pretty extensive network of trails! Lots of birds and impressive stone walls. I wish I’d learned about this when I lived closer, I’ll have to come back to explore more in a warmer season!
Beautiful park with a wide variety of scenery and several miles of twisty trails. Trails vary from paved path and groomed 4 wheel paths, to narrow foot trails. Look closely and you might see a white tail deer or red tail hawk.
Absolutely beautiful trails, so much space to explore! There are lots of beautiful stone walls, little streams and huge trees, grassy trails and small meadows, something for every hiker.

“The park is a mix of fields, woods, train tracks and a paved access road (as far as what we saw and walked) Looking forward to coming back in the spring / summer for a picnic!”
“5 mile-ish outer loop, with a few different cut trough trails (without going to bluff or across the street near pond)”
“I could see some spots that would be fairly muddy if it had rained recently.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
