A lovely oasis of the natural world; today I saw nesting geese, ducks, turtles of various sizes, and a very friendly and loud Oriole. The willows are yellow-green and there are red buds on many trees.
A beautiful little gem of a park. Seems like an excellent hotspot for birds on migration. I was amazed at the sheer amount and variety I saw during my two trips here - comparable to the much more famous Mt. Auburn Cemetery, but in a much more compact space.
Hidden nature gem in Brookline. It's beautiful and calm during any season but it's stunning right after a snow fall when the snow sparkles on the tree branches. Love walking along the raised boardwalk and escaping in these woods! Great for kids.
A very interesting place. Near a field where people engage in sports but still a quiet little area full of plants and wildlife. Love the peaceful walk I get to enjoy here.
