Confirmed from Hampton Brook Woods Wildlife Management Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hampton Brook Woods Wildlife Management Area
“Not good for hikes, but a nice quiet piece of woods to have a moment in.”
Great woodsy spot, but the trail dies out after a short distance. Parking is good for a car or 2. Terrain will be quite muddy in wet seasons. Not good for hikes, but a nice quiet piece of woods to have a moment in. *Trail is not marked.*
Hunted here last fall. (3 years ago now) Great place! Only kicked up 1 buck after a few days of running around here but I was able to video a sick fox as it made it's way towards me. I will be back here in a few short months!!
No real trail. Easy enough to go down to18 mile creek but without my gps watch, I wouldn't have attempted it. There is a park at the opposite end of the T in the dead end road. An Eagle Scout just finished up a new well marked 1/3 mile trail he designed for his project. Did a really nice job!!
So many opportunities to get bigger deer here sit and be patient and you'll see big bucks its a gem lots of ten point bucks running through it
