We rode our bikes on the rail trail from the Airfield Cafe in No. Hampton south to the derelict railroad bridge that spans the river and the marsh area. 30 minutes at an easy pace.
If you're looking to explore, DO NOT park at the end of FULLER ACRES. This is private property and you will be towed. Consider parking on route 101 where it crosses the marsh.
I have driven by multiple times while heading to Hampton Beach 🏖️ and have only thought "Why would people want to live right on or close to the marsh?". The high 🌊 tides or hurricanes 🌬️ would be such a disincentive. King 👑 🌊 tides, which happens occasionally, must be such a challenge.
Beautiful land that makes for a great walking or biking experience. Some of the trail transitions can get a bit wet, depending on recent weather, but it's still all completely navigable. Plenty of various birds to spot.
