Confirmed from Hanover Trolley Trail (HTT)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“The out-and-back is about 4 miles and passes through a beautiful York County landscape.”
“The wide, flat trail of crushed stone is suitable for all abilities, including wheel chair bound individuals.”
This rail trail follows the old Hanover Trolley grade east of town. The wide, flat trail of crushed stone is suitable for all abilities, including wheel chair bound individuals. It's a quick 1.5 mile segment with two parking access points and benches about every half mile.
I really liked this trail. I started in Spring Grove. Near the trail goes under an abandoned bridge. Here it get confusing because the trail divides and it's not clear which way to go, turns out you turn right. Most of the trail is deep wooded and farm land.
Pleasant, well kept, short little walk. Once part of the Hanover/York trolley line, now part of the ever expanding rail trail.
Lovely trail for a quiet walk and if you're lucky you may catch some wildlife ❤️
