Confirmed from Hanson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Laid-back, riverside space for walking, relaxing or picnicking.

“Beautiful park with a very well maintained walking path.”
“Excellent park, well maintained and quiet.”
Beautiful park with a very well maintained walking path. Perfect for small group gatherings or walks with the dog. Well shaded. The town very frequently has volunteer groups host events or activities in the park for families and kids. Perfect little spot when you want to enjoy the outdoors.
I love Hanson Park. It is a wonderful small park for walking, sitting and basically just to take in nature. The area is extremely well maintained by a local non-profit and the group's passion for taking care of the park is evident.
Park along the river with an old outdoor canoe club fire place, views of the river and a well manicured walking path. They also have outdoor yoga some weekends
Carved pumpkin walk, scary movies hot cider and cookies. It's great but has become too overcrowded on Pumpkin walk. Hence, 4 stars instead of 5.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceCrushed gravel — the rail-trail classic: softer than asphalt, still smooth enough for tempo work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
