We love coming here with the kids. There are picnic tables and things which is fine. But take a few steps off the trails and you really are in “the woods”.
My favorite place near Chicago for trail running!(north location) Several parking lots. Access bike trail too. Beautiful in the fall. Off trails muddy if it rained.
Wonderful wooded area with bike paths, walking trails, and a universe of imagination for kids to frolic in.
I went there for a birthday party and the place was great. There were many dogs and people running around the forest. We also found a rock which I really liked. I hope someone claims it!
