Confirmed from Harns Marsh's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great outdoor walking trail. Sunsets/sunrises photography is great here because of the clear skies + reflections from the often still water. Overall a good place to learn about Lehigh’s ecosystem.

I swear this is one of SW Florida's hidden gems if you're a bird or nature lover! I can see more species of birds in 30 minutes than anywhere else I've visited! Lots of big fish as well. Free to park and walk the entire trail.

My private getaway — absolutely stunning! Harns Marsh is a true hidden gem and one of the most beautiful showcases of Florida’s natural scenery. The peaceful trails, wildlife, and wide-open views made it feel like our own private escape.

Spectacular place in Lee County to spend a morning birding. Varied marsh and upland hammock habitats will give you plenty of variety in bird species. Have seen swamphens here at every trip. Will become my regular birding spot. Be mindful tho- no facilities and 4.2 miles around the whole area.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
