Confirmed from Harrisburg Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
34.68-acre park with a picnic shelter, playground & paved trail, plus cornhole courts & ball fields.

Amazing what they've done to the park over the years. Now there is a wonderful water park/area for the children and an additional upgraded playground. A nice place for a great workout, jog, picnic and relaxing walk along a few trails. Numerous different soccer fields and goal zones. Plenty of room.
MON 2025.07.14 ~05:50 after i arrived and parked at the Veterans Park parking area, out i went for a CCW-Loop ~5 mi walk; the neighborhood, Harrisburg Park, Harris Depot Park, and Veterans Park. The neighborhood and the Parks were well-maintained and clean. Noticed a few people walking in Harrisburg Park.
Well equipped and nice park near center of town. There is more than enough space for the kids to run around on the fields or play on the playground. The little walking/jogging track is nice as well. I would have given it 5 stars but the bathrooms could be a little cleaner.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
