Confirmed from Harrison Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a trail for biking, running, and walking, plus some off-road paths.
What runners say about Harrison Park
“Me and my mom take the dog out for a walk there every morning it's a beautiful place has a nice Trail for biking running or walking.”
Great to walk thru and rest. But now the city is tearing up part of it. Say they going to make more trails. Then the city will cry they have no money. The park is not very old. Use the money to fix the streets that keep tearing up.
Ice newer playground equipment. Very large park that also has a long walking trail At rthe end if that there is a frisbee golf course. Hermiston has always taken pride in its parks.
I like how far you can walk or ride. It's a nice walk, and when mom got tired I had my wagon handy.
Previously this park would be largely forgotten and it certainly was not a destination spot, except that it connects to larger Oxbow trail. Now, that there are brand new basketball courts (with evening lighting), you may have a reason to visit and enjoy.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
