Confirmed from Harry J. Betar Jr. Recreational Park at Moreau Rec.'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Informal area featuring baseball and soccer fields, plus a playground and walking paths.
What runners say about Harry J. Betar Jr. Recreational Park at Moreau Rec.
“Well maintained paved walk along the Hudson just above the famous Cooper's Cave, whose entrance is just a short walk from the gazebo at the end of the walk.”
I walk this bike path every am..scenic and calming..look for the white robin!!
Quiet, clean, well maintained. A nice place for a walk or run. Lots of sports fields for the young. There is even a natural "bowl" containing a soccer field that school teams play in while spectators watch from the grassy rim.
There is plenty of space for littles to run around and a variety of play apparatuses. The accessible playground is...okay. I wouldn't say it's accessible to everyone, but I guess there's more accessibility than over playgrounds. The splash pad is always fun as well as sledding at the bowl in the winter.
This is a great place for my Grandson to go and have a lot of fun. He can run and play and climb on the different slides and ladders and then when he gets warm he can go to the splash pad and cool off. If you're looking for a place to take your kids you should check it out.
