Confirmed from Haviland's Cove Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sandy park with river swimming areas and beaches, plus playground equipment and grilling stations.

“Beautiful park along the Hudson River for a peaceful walk or to relax.”
Pleasant walking and biking path between Hudson River and feeder canal. Path ties with other trails as part of an extensive system in the area. Nice views of the Hudson River.
First time here. What a beautiful place. Nice beach with sand and a raft. It was chilly, 5:00 pm on September 1st. Saw just a few people jogging, walking.
Went other day...enjoyed watching couples walking...pets playing.. Ducks gathering along shore...leaves me tranquil
Nice park all together. Trail was rather clean. Good for biking, strollers, running, walking, etc... The river was obviously really low, but still really nice. The beginning of the trail has inappropriate liter from 2 love birds, but other than that it was fun.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
