Confirmed from Hartje Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hartje Center
Really great for a walk with the dogs. The trails were clearly labeled. Had a loop for runners! A great place to take small kids, the trails were pretty easy to navigate.
Easy hike trail system all loops and you can add on other trails to increase distance of your hike. Most trails are sand/grass and fairly flat. There are a few hills on trails marked as harder. There is parking on either side of road along with trails. I included map as there is none online.
Lovely local place to go for a hike. There are many trails to choose from and they are marked by distance and difficulty so that you don't have to get into anything unexpected. I love to go for runs here. Dogs are allowed, but it is best to keep them on a leash.
Enjoyed the hiking trails. Maps aren't at every intersection but we managed. Building and bathroom were not open for the spring yet, but we came to hile.

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
