Confirmed from Hatfield Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Dog park featuring sections for large, small, “bold” and “tender” dogs, plus a kid-friendly pool area.
What runners say about Hatfield Community Park
“I go for the dog park which is large, well maintained, divided into two sections for the bold and the more sedate pups, and usually features really nice pups and their people.”
“It was my new dogs first time at a dog park and he loved it.”
Hatfield Community Park is convenient. Complete with walking trails, dog park, basketball and tennis courts. Plenty of free parking. The dog park is divided into two sections, one for big dogs and the other side for little dogs with big barks. :)
We use the dog park here and it's quite nice, decent size, poop bags, doggie water station, seating for people. The two sections are divided for calm or bold dogs as opposed to the usual big and small which we like. There is a paved path, basketball and tennis courts.
Very welcoming and clean . Plenty to do. Basket Ball courts, dog parks, pickle ball ,play ground and walking/biking trail. Nice Place
Love the 6 dedicated pickleball courts!!! Will have to come back to check out the hiking/walking trail too!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadwater — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
