Confirmed from Frick's Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful park featuring a short, paved trail that's good for kids and dogs.

Fricks trail has an entry from Line Lexington Rd in Hatfield. The first part of the trail is paved and about 3/4 mi. It’s an easy walk for young and old. There is one wooden bridge with a slight rise. After completing the 3/4 mi you will walk into a housing development.
This is a really beautiful paved trail however I went here due to a review saying that it was 12 miles and i like to do 4.5 miles a day with my dog and was looking for a paved trail because of all my usual trails been covered in mud, so made the drive and it was only about 3/4 of mile long which was a huge bummer.
There is a main walk nicely paved and also a lot of trails off the beaten path! The creek is clean and clear, great for dogs!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
