Confirmed from Hawk Ridge Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hawk Ridge Trail
“Hawk Ridge is a stunning and relaxing trail!”
Hawk Ridge is a stunning and relaxing trail! There’s a handful of different routes to take. The main trail is about 4 mi with a mix of concrete and gravel walkways. The scenery is beautiful with a few areas to sit and read a book along the way. It can get a little busy, but it’s not too crowded by any means.
At 4.4 miles, this is the longest of the Queeny Park trails. It runs basically around the perimeter of the park, including right along Mason Road on the east side. It is primarily paved but has some rocky sections as well. A very popular trail!
It was a great place but using my gps was frustrating getting here. The gps will take you to some place you can’t park (park at queeny park of Mason) then once you park you aren’t really shown where hawk ridge starts, if you go left like me..
