Confirmed from Hawks Landing Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Big park featuring a netted climbing structure, slides and picnic tables - as well as a hiking trail.
What runners say about Hawks Landing Park
“It’s clean and well maintained, there are garbages and benches available, two play areas and a nature path all right next to each other.”
Amazing park in a nice neighborhood. The park consists of a huge netted climbing area and a smaller big toy for younger kids. The park itself is a bit for older kids but my 3.5 year old was able to climb through all the nets and use the big slides. The smaller big toy was okay for my 1.5yo to use with supervision.
Cool park for older kids, especially. Multiple areas to "hang out". Large covered picnic table pavilion that looks like it can be reserved. Some green space and a trail through the wetlands. You can hear a train in the distance. Dogs welcome. No swings. No bathroom.
Like no playground I’ve ever seen! It has a place for smaller kids and larger kids, backs onto wooded trails and has a covered picnic area. Biggest downside: lack of parking! The trails do connect to he dog park, so you can drive over there, park and then walk/cycle through to the playground.
Awesome park! It’s clean and well maintained, there are garbages and benches available, two play areas and a nature path all right next to each other. It would be 5 stars if there was a bathroom!
Trail conditions & character
“Since it is right in the middle of a neighborhood, there are no bathroom facilities so be aware.”
“I’m just visiting the area and looked for a little park bench under a shade tree to relax & crochet a little bit.”
“So fun for the kids climbing it although there's few parking, in a neighborhood”
