We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Hayrake Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hayrake Trail
Great beginner's hike location for the late Spring, Summer/Autumn. You won't be spending more than half an hour walking here, and the path isn't exactly wide enough to house bikers due to vegetation and dirt path. This location does not have an outlet, so the only way out is from where you entered.
this is a cool little neighborhood trail probably about an eighth of a mile long leading to a found artifact that has been restored by the local boy scout troop
Very nice, well maintained Trail with a very cool feature at the end. Walked it on May 1, 2021. Eagle Scouts should be Proud of their members who must have worked hard to build this Trail and continue to maintain it. Thank you.
5 STARS and LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE BOYS! Kudos to these Scouts. It makes the neighborhood walk even more beautiful. A job very well done that should last many generations. Who knows what the future holds for the lovely Hayrake Trail?!
