Confirmed from Hazel Fazzino Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a playground, picnic areas, walking track, and outdoor exercise equipment.
What runners say about Hazel Fazzino Park
Wonderful, clean playground with all around coverage from the sun. Engaging activities for kids of all ages (even a world map and ASL and Braille alphabet chart to spark some learning while having fun). There are picnic tables and exercise equipment.
I like this park but it doesnt have a door that closes so kids can easily run out from either exit.
Was nice. I was just looking for a place to have lunch out doors on a nice Saturday afternoon... Chick fil a... they have several picnic benches. And a small walking path so you can walk off lunch. A quick 3x times around and off I went to my next arrand. Many familes..families... parents with kids. Everyone pleasant.
Love taking my daughter to this park! She has a blast every time we come here. Whenever I have some free time, I make sure to bring her here. The playground is great, and there's plenty of open space for her to run around. Highly recommend this park for families
Trail conditions & character
“As noted in other reviews, there is no bathroom so make sure to plan around that.”
“Ample parking is available during the day.”
“I love the "no dogs allowed" because not everyone picks up after their pets and kids can play in the grass without us parents thinking of "surprises".”
“The only thing that really needs is some lights.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
