Confirmed from East Greynolds Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about East Greynolds Park
“the bathroom was clean and usable .”
“The park has a lot of beautiful trees which support the local bird population.”
“The dogs that visit the park are all friendly and mostly well-behaved, making it fun to watch them play.”
This park is part of a 249 parcel of land that is split into east and west sides of Greynold's Park. In ancient times, the Tequesta used the river for travel and in the 1800's, the Seminoles set up a trading post to service early Miami settlers. Later on the land was a limestone quarry.
I think the main thing to do here is kayak. The kayak rental place is awesome. Everything is clean and maintained. The staff is awesome. The kayak "trail" is fun. The trail they recommend has abandoned buildings (pictured) you can explore.
I absolutely love taking my dog to this park. It is such a great space for dogs to run around and play freely. One of the things that I really appreciate is that the park separates the bigger and smaller dogs, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all pups.
Great little park with plenty of parking. One shelter available for events. A few picnic tables, some by the water. Lots of people fishing. Also has kayak rentals and launch ,if you bring your own. Has a nice ,fenced dog park. And a paved trail as well.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
