Great place to stop and see. You can walk down on the rocks. Beautiful views! Worth going down to see the different view points. George bush house in the distance. When the flag is raised that supposedly means there is a Bush family member in the house!
A wonderful place to stop and enjoy the scenery, and for the curious, a distant view of the summer compound of the Bush family. Family including presidents, vice-president, governors, senator, US Ambassador to UN, CIA Director, Ambassador to China, military service.
I'm giving away important local insider information here: Always parking available, even during the summer. It's the perfect place to park if you're a walker. Paved sidewalk starts here all the way into Dock Square in KPT.
I stopped for a quick photo as it was winter and icy everywhere. Absolutely breathtaking even from the small parking lot. I'll be back in the spring when I can explore the trails.
