Confirmed from Heggie Field's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Heggie Field
It is an excellent place for teenage girls and young teenagers because it has a running track, soccer fields and exercise machines, getting the best physical and mental growth and development. I support this park and invite you to visit this place in the mornings and afternoons.
This is a great City of Joliet park, lots of swings, slides and other things for your kids. It has a padded okay ground. Lots of paved black top trails to walk on for exercise. This park even has a bathroom in it 😀😀.

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
