Confirmed from Hellebusch Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hellebusch Park
“Restrooms are clean, picnic area is large, playground is good for ages 4 to 10 and it's very dog friendly.”
“Nice quiet park with a nice sized pond I didn't even know was here very relaxing 😎”
Playground is a bit dated and dirty, but everything is in safe, working order! Nice path surrounding a pond, and a shelter with bathrooms is available. Stroller friendly, no stairs.
Before I start. Hey. The person with the last name of Ives. Are you related to Burl Ives the singer? You have a great last name. Now to the park. Love this park. I used to come here all the time with my grandmother. She doesn't live that far from this park. It's nice and welcoming and so peaceful over here.
Besides being rainy and dreary throughout and the reason I was there being a mourning gathering the park seems relatively clean and nice aside from a jar of peanut butter and empty cigarette pack and a water bottle down a hill closer to the woods and there isn't a ton of senseless graffiti everywhere (good art is good…
It's a really nice park! Had a family reunion gathering. They have a playground for kids, covered area with picnic tables. Great place to just go walking. They had a few ducks, fish and turtles in the water (no fishing) the scenery was great place for taking photos!
