Confirmed from Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Featuring a variety of forested areas, this park offers camping, fishing, hiking & picnic spots.

We’re in the area for my brother’s treatment for a rare form of cancer at Stanford, and before his surgery, we wanted to check something off his bucket list — seeing the redwoods.
🌲 An Awesome and Accessible Natural Wonder If you are looking for an awesome place that is easy to walk and great for families, Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is hard to beat. My main takeaway from this visit is just how accessible these ancient giants are.
Gorgeous park, breathtaking fauna and wildlife, clean trails, and friendly people/volunteers who were more than happy to fill us in on the history and wildlife. We only had the time to hit the quick 0.8 mi loop, but that was enough before we continued to San Francisco to catch a flight back home.
Nature beauty. Great for hikes with different levels tracks. Suitable for family or team building activity. We visited it with colleagues while meeting in California and took a drive to it from Santa Clara. Huge old redwood trees.
