Confirmed from Heritage Oaks Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park offering a picnic area, a playground, and a restroom.
What runners say about Heritage Oaks Park

“Very nice park with huge, beautiful trees and surroundings.”
“Big green space for dog to run and good shady playground for kids play in.”
“A serene park offering a peaceful retreat, complete with restroom facilities.”
Nice place to take dogs for a walk. I don't think there are official off-leash times, as there are in some other parks in the area, nor is there a dedicated dog area. There is a trail that follows the creek which is nice, and there is also access down to the creek itself (or dry creek bed).
This is my favorite park to bring grandkids and dog. Big green space for dog to run and good shady playground for kids play in. Very peaceful. Miramonte is busy street but there is a good size Creek along the street with plenty trees and shrubs, can't even see cars.
Love the fact that there is a small creek here. Not a huge park but there is a decent amount of shade. I see 4 BBQ grills and 8 tables. Very well kept park. There's a bathroom for men and women.
Great park - lots of green space for running around in. There are bathrooms and picnic tables, with a small barbecue grill. Aside from play structures, there are climbing structures as well. There is also a creek or access to it.
