Confirmed from Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature preserve with hiking trails, a farm, and picnic tables, plus deer, turkeys, and other wildlife.

Just awesome - especially for getting a hike in over the weekend. It’s close enough and just off the 280 so getting there is a breeze. Parking can be a challenge if you’re late - in the summer that’s anytime after 7 am.
One of my favorite parks to go for a hike or running. There is some for everyone at every age group. There are good bathroom that are reasonably clean. There is a picnic tables in couple of spots along the trail. The kids favorite part is the animal farm after a little walk.
This place is a paradise for hikers. With numerous trails, some going as high as 2000 ft above sea level it provides challenges to hikers young and old alike! It also has a few bike paths that accommodate both mechanical and electric bikes.
Lots of great trails to pick from in this park and it's free to visit. Maps are available at the trailhead in Parking Lot 1. All the trails are well maintained and clearly signed. Lower trails tend to be hotter and exposed. Most of the trails in the hills have plenty of shade.
