Confirmed from Heritage Park & Fitness Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with kid-friendly hiking trails, including an easy-to-walk loop.
What runners say about Heritage Park & Fitness Trails
“Well marked woodland walking trail.”
“Great for walking, hiking, dog walking, jogging, easy biking.”
Nice network of hiking trails. They can get pretty busy on nice days. Lots of dogs around. Connects to another hiking area through the trails. Great for walking, hiking, dog walking, jogging, easy biking. Mostly we'll groomed.
This is a great trail made all the better because it connects to a longer trail. There are numerous side trails to try which make the hikes much more interesting. The main trails tend to be wide and pretty level but the side trails can be narrow and more challenging.
Nice walking trails with some small water crossings and a child's playground hidden along the trail.
Winding trails with hilly terrain, lots of streams and overlooks connecting to Steere Farm trail.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
