Confirmed from Heritage Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Heritage Park
Great spot for a walk. Some hilly spots can be a bit slippery in the snow or rain, but the scenery is fantastic
Beautiful place!!! Love the swing set towards the end of the trail!! I had a wonderful time
The Heritage park is a great walk/hike in nature the way it was hundreds of years ago! Mostly shaded with beautiful streams so it's cool in the summer. The park trails connect to the Steere property trails owned by the Gloucester Land trust .
Well maintained, nice peaceful trails with creeks/small rivers and resting places including a swing set and seesaw
Plan your run at Heritage Park
The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
