Confirmed from Heritage Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood park with a playground, a pavilion, picnic tables & multiuse trails.

Heritage Park is an expansive park with a multitude of activities for the family. Fort Wildflower and and the Tot Lot are playgrounds to tire the kids out at. It has swings, tons of slides, musical instruments, a rock climbing wall, rock climbing poles, as well as many other things to keep your kids interested.
One of the best parks in all of DFW! This park has it all. Trails, trees, open space and a splash pad. This is a very kid, family, adult and senior friendly park. I could see teacher having outdoor classes here as well. This is a pristine park and the pride of the town.
This is a beautiful park with a nice walking path. There are animal states that you can spot along the trail which is fun for kids. They also have a large okay area for kids.
This park is quiet, clean, and there's lots of parking! The landscaping is nice and they have bronze statues of animals with an accompanying informational plaque throughout the park. There's also lots of benches and picnic areas, a fountain, and a splash pad in the summer time.
