Confirmed from Heritage Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, picnic shelter & paved trail, plus tennis courts, a pond & disc golf course.
What runners say about Heritage Park

Best disc golf course to learn on, fun clean safe environment , large paved jogging path around perimeter of the park ducks in the pond are not bread crazy and vagrant free, fully staffed park maintenance crew city workers
I love heritage park. I grow up next to this park and its a big beautiful park. It has picnic tables, basketball courts, baseball diamond, tennis courts, playground for the kids, a disc golf field for beginners you can take a walk or a jog. Also it has a man made pond by the out field of the baseball field.

Trail conditions & character
“Plenty of concrete or cemented area for riding bikes, skateboard, scooter, or rollerblading.”
“I only give them a 4 star because of the lack of light at the end of the park it gets real dark back.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
