Confirmed from Freedom Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Community park offering open green space, a children's playground & a splash pad.
What runners say about Freedom Park
“It's always clean, and the playground structure is awesome, and they have a unique swing where mommy can sing with baby.”
“A really great place for kids with a big imagination the dog park is great to let your dog run free and you can still do and read if you like.”
“Green rolling hills, lots of big shade trees, huge playground with several slides for the kids.”
To the guy with facial hair, baseball cap, black and gray sleeve on his right arm, riding your bike fast on the trail, you almost hit my dog with your bike. If this ever happens again it will not end well for you. You've been warned.
Great park! The kids loved the splash pad. And the playground is a good size. Clean and big field, my toddler loved running free. Shaded tables where we had made sandwiches. Beautiful place to spend a summer day without having to spend money.
Freedom park is a great way to unwind and just take in nature, taking a walk through the trail. Enjoy watching children on the playground with their families. If you want to take your dog more then welcome even your dog needs a little freedom. I live not to far from the park even to do a run.
Relaxing, I had to get some sunshine due to I'm taking vitamin D and we'll doctor's orders. It's very peaceful seems like all your worries go away. Freedom park has a lot of people enjoying the playground and families so happy. Brings back childhood memories. As for me I love the to swing and see how high can I go.

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
