Confirmed from Heritage Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Heritage Park
“Nice and clean park, very well maintained.”
Nice and clean park, very well maintained. Walking distance from our home, nice skate park, never has a lot of people hanging around. I feel safe there.
I wish they would put in more tables and grills, no bathrooms on holidays and they need to spray for mosquitoes. But other than that it's a Nice place for family fun with a playground area, skate park, football, basketball, volleyball, walking area around the park, nice big grassy area, lots of room to ride your bikes,…
Heritage Park other than being the Adminstration part of the Village of Los Lunas it's also a Skate park and Headquarters for Park Rangers who Patrol our River Park, Hiking trails on the West side of town behind the LL Hill and great job to our Park's and Recreation Dept.
Lots of open space to play. So many things to do. They have bathrooms and new playground equipment in the bark chips. There is also a sand box to play in and a wellness center, a skate park, and a dirt/concrete walking trail. We enjoy it every time we go. A popular place.
