Confirmed from Riverside Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Riverside Park
“Beautiful place to come walk the dogs or just take a peaceful walk.”
“Great shady park to feel like you have entered at least a mildly wild place in the middle of the village.”
The Riverside park is excellent for family gatherings! It offers a safe place to gather and experience the outdoors! As a balloon pilot we have used the park for post flight celebrations! As a mother I have walked barefoot along the trails.
This park is amazing! I loved all the nature trails and the location is perfect, it was so nice being near the river.
An absolutely lovely place to enjoy lunch, wonderful walking trails and really nice people to meet. Be careful when walking too far off the beaten path at dusk or dawn as there have been large "cat" sightings reported. I haven't seen any personally but I have seen a family of deer very close to the parking lot.
Beautiful place to come walk the dogs or just take a peaceful walk. Walking trails go for miles and the color changes in the fall are spectacular. Bird watching is always good any time of year. We frequent Riverside for pictures and picnics, especially in the fall.
