Confirmed from Hess-Hathaway Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular park with a playground, farm animals, trails & sports such as baseball & volleyball.
What runners say about Hess-Hathaway Park
“The staff are easy to work with and the park is great for children of all ages but I would like to comment on something else here at the park.”
Awesome park with animals and a fenced in playground. This is great for my 2 year old that likes to try to run off.
Great park to take the kids to. The play scape, swings and sand lot are all gated in so you don't have to worry about your kids running off in opposite directions and going too far. There is a smaller pavilion in the play area and a large pavilion on the opposite side of the parking lot that sits on a small hill.
Great, Little Park and Waterford, Michigan really really loved it. Enjoyed it with family great place for kids to play around the kids play area, which is fenced plenty of playground to run around it. Picnic tables, water fountains, and nice little farm for the kids to enjoy. recommend a visit here.
Very nice park. There's rows and rows of park benches and picnic tables, for family groups or couples. There's even a place to walk alongside the beach called the boardwalk. The beaches roped off oh, so no worries about going into lake traffic. There is an entry fee to enter this park. Or you can get a yearly pass.
