Confirmed from Hickories Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Riverside park offering a playground, picnic areas, a boat launch, and a dog exercise area.
What runners say about Hickories Park
“I mostly appreciated that there was a open and clean restroom near by.”
“Hickories Park sits along the Susquehanna River, offering a boat launch, creek access, fishing, and beautiful views.”
It was a very clean peaceful park. We stopped by during our 8 hours drive to Canada. We had a quick lunch picnic stop there while kids play in the playground. Take Our Your Garbage policy in the park was great. It kept the ground clean. We enjoyed an hour of break there. The dog park was great too.
I grew up in this town (Owego, NY) this park is beautiful. You can walk, bike, play basket ball, baseball, soccer. You can grill, camp in your RV, launch a boat onto the river. I have had many special events and picnics here. There are also several pavilions there.
Always a great stop for a walk any time of year. This park, in comparison to other nearby parks, is absolutely massive.
Beautiful spot for a picnic. Dog park, RV camping, boat launch, walking, one building with bathrooms.
